Kir Alhaji Mohammed Ali Dabre III was a distinguished Ghanaian traditional leader and the first President of the Yankasa Association in the United States, where he helped lay the foundation for an organization dedicated to supporting the Ghanaian diaspora and advancing social interventions in health and education.
A retired educationist by profession, Chief Dabre III served for many years as the Bissa Chief of the Greater Accra Region and as President of the Greater Accra Council of Bissa Chiefs, standing as a central figure for the Bissa community in Ghana's capital. He was a tireless advocate for education, frequently urging families to take full advantage of opportunities such as Ghana's Free Senior High School policy to secure brighter futures for their children.
