President Ibrahim Abdulai Masiga has led Yankasa Association since 2021, bringing renewed energy and vision to the organization. Under his leadership, the Association has been actively involved in transformative community initiatives, including the training of medical doctors and expanding programs that empower members across the Ghanaian and broader American Muslim community in the Bronx.

Mohammed Beshir Kabore

Mohammed Beshir Kabore

Mohammed Beshir Kabore balances a 40-hour workweek with extensive community service as an organizer and distributor for the Mott Haven Fridge Network. His Islamic faith drives this commitment—he points to the prophets' teachings against selfishness and in favor of mutual aid as the foundation of why he shows up for others.
